The MBA program will be holding a Microsoft Excel Workshop and Help Session. Two sessions will be held: one for Excel beginners and one for experienced Excel users. Each of the sessions will have instructor-led hands-on experience and troubleshooting based on Excel issues students are struggling with. If you are interested in attending, you should select the level which best suits your experience.

The Beginning Excel session will include the very basics of Excel, including:
-how to begin using Excel
-basic formatting
-basic formulas
-basic data manipulation, including filtering and sorting
-questions from the participants

The Beginning Excel session is targeted towards those students that have minor experience with Excel and are looking to gear up for upcoming coursework. This session will run 12-1:45pm.

The Intermediate Excel session will include:
-Pivot tables and chairs
-input tables
-lookup tables
-questions from the participants.

The Intermediate Excel session is targeted towards those students that have some Excel experience and are looking to become more efficient and create more complex worksheets. ‚Äč‚ÄčThis session will run from 2-4pm.

It is not recommended that students attend both sessions as there will be some overlap.

Laptops are not needed as the workshop will be held in the finance lab. Students should bring a list of questions/issues about Excel that have come up during their work.
